Cancer Support Services
We offer a range of cancer support programs and services including our Oncology day unit the provides chemotherapy and other supportive treatments for people with cancer or other chronic illnesses.
The midwives at Northeast Health run childbirth and parenting classes throughout the year. These classes give you the chance to look around our facilities, meet some of our staff and meet other people who are going through pregnancy and parenthood.
Our community engagement team are responsible for: fundraising and donations, media liaison, community development, events and public relations.
Midwifery Group Practice (MPG)
The midwife from the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) will work with you to identify your needs and will make sure that all your tests, consultations and referrals run smoothly.

Medical Imaging (X-ray)
Our modern medical imaging facility offers a comprehensive and personalised service. The onsite medical specialists and imaging staff provide 24-hour imaging services to the hospital.
The medical ward is located on the ground floor of the hospital and contains 27 general medical beds including 2 palliative care rooms.
Our maternity ward provides a supportive environment for new mums with 24-hour care from our team of midwives.
Our occupational therapists can help you to safely perform everyday activities in your home and other surroundings.
Our Oncology day unit provides chemotherapy and other supportive treatments for people with cancer or other chronic illnesses.

Renal Dialysis Unit
The renal dialysis unit at Northeast Health can treat up to 21 people and is serviced by two specialist kidney doctors.

The surgical ward at Northeast Health Wangaratta cares for you after your surgery. The ward has 25 beds with a mixture of single, two and four bed rooms.
