As an Allied Health Graduate at Northeast Health, you will have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of clinical experiences.  If you are a graduating Allied Health clinician you are eligible to apply for the following positions as listed on NHW Vacancies page.

  • Allied Health Graduate Position – Grade 1 (not available in all allied health disciplines) or
  • Entry Level Allied Health Position – Grade 1

Successful applicants to these positions will have the opportunity to participate in the Allied Health Graduate Program. This is an inter-professional program that offers support and education to Allied Health Graduates in their first 2 years of practice to successfully transition into the workforce. The program supports clinical and professional skill development and provides the opportunity for debriefing and support.

Allied Health Graduates are encouraged to participate in the Hume Region Allied Health Graduate Support Program. This is a regional initiative to provide educational opportunities, support and networking opportunities for Allied Health Graduates working in the Hume Region.

All Allied Health disciplines offer either a rotational program through key clinical service areas, or the opportunity to work across multiple clinical areas within their role to enhance both technical and professional skill development.

Allied Health Graduates have the support of senior Allied Health professionals and access to regular supervision. Allied Health Graduates have access to ongoing training within their discipline or team, as well as extensive organisation wide training opportunities. Allied Health Graduates are also encouraged to be involved in quality and research initiatives within the organisation.
