Northeast Health Wangaratta is celebrating the graduation of 15 staff members who have successfully completed a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
The group commenced the program in March 2025 and graduated in June 2026, completing 15 months of study, practical learning and leadership development alongside their everyday roles within the health service.
The nationally recognised qualification supports participants to strengthen skills in communication, team leadership, operational management, problem-solving and workplace improvement, helping prepare the next generation of leaders in regional healthcare.
Investing in staff development is a key part of NHW’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services and building a skilled, capable workforce for the future.
Executive Director People and Corporate Operations, Kim Bennetts, said the achievement reflects the dedication and commitment of the graduates.
“Completing a qualification of this scale while balancing work and personal commitments is a significant accomplishment. We are incredibly proud of our graduates and the commitment they have shown to developing their leadership skills,” Ms Bennetts said.
“The knowledge and experience gained through this program will not only support their own professional growth but will also strengthen our organisation and benefit the communities we serve.”
NHW congratulates all graduates on their achievement and thanks the managers, mentors and colleagues who supported them throughout their learning journey.
