A prominent new location has been secured to host Northeast Health Wangaratta’s (NHW) COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic.
The will be repurposed as a Vaccination Clinic from Monday, 5 July 2021.
The Vaccination Clinic is currently located at 10 Clark Street, adjacent to NHW’s Community Care Centre.
From its current location NHW has been able to administer an average of more than 200 COVID-19 vaccinations per day since opening to the public on 2 June.
NHW Interim Chief Executive Officer Fiona Shanks said the new location would be more comfortable and easier to find.
“This is a larger, more prominent and more comfortable site for our community to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations,” she said.
“There will be improved traffic management, more parking and better all abilities access.
“Working with our partners at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) we are aiming to vaccinate as many people in our region as possible, in line with the Australian Government’s phased vaccination program.
NHW’s Vaccination Clinic will continue to operate at the Clark Street site until Friday, 2 July, before opening at the former Holden dealership on Monday, 5 July.

The Vaccination Clinic is open Monday- Friday from 9am – 4pm.

Screening Clinic:
The COVID-19 Screening Clinic will continue to be located in Docker Street for the time being, before moving to the former Holden dealership in the coming weeks.
