The Greta community has once again demonstrated its generosity, raising $3,500 for Northeast Health Wangaratta’s (NHW) Cancer and Wellness Unit through the Greta Football Netball Club’s annual fundraising dinner.
Held for the 13th time on 25 June, the much-loved event brought together community members, local businesses, sponsors and volunteers in support of local cancer care.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the funds raised will directly support NHW’s Cancer and Wellness Unit, helping to provide high-quality care, support and resources for patients undergoing cancer treatment close to home.
The annual fundraising dinner has become a valued community tradition, with the knowledge that every dollar raised stays within the local community making the event especially meaningful for organisers and supporters alike.
