Medical Care and Services
At Illoura, your loved one will be offered 24-hour nursing and personal care services. A care plan is individually developed for each resident and reviewed regularly to ensure that personal care and needs are met. Assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, showering, dressing and mobility is part of the daily care that our staff provide.
Residents can choose their own GP to provide medical services and a local pharmacy is available for medication needs. Your loved one will also have access to a range of allied health professionals including:

- Diabetes educator
- Social worker
- Occupational therapist
- Counsellor
The medical equipment provided by Illoura and Northeast Health Wangaratta undergoes preventative maintenance and an equipment replacement program is in place to ensure that residents and staff are safe at all times.
Pastoral Care
Residents have access to pastoral care provided by our qualified Pastoral Care Officers and our pastoral care volunteers. Families are also offered support through our pastoral care service.
Meals
Residents enjoy nutritious, well-planned, home-style meals that are seasonally adjusted and cater to individual needs and special dietary requirements. A birthday cake is also presented in celebration of the resident’s special day.

Cleaning
Our staff clean living areas daily. Personal laundry is washed at an on-site facility while an external contractor launders bedding and towels.
Computers, touch screen devices and phones
Residents have access to email and Skype. If your loved one would like a personal phone, landlines can be coordinated through Telstra.
