Walk-in to get your COVID-19 vaccination
No appointments are required at the Northeast Health Wangaratta Vaccination Clinic from Monday, 18 October onwards. This is to allow community members who have not yet been able to receive a COVID-19 vaccination to be protected against COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
The Rural City of Wangaratta has achieved a first dose vaccination rate of more than 95% among residents aged 16 and over.
Everyone aged 12 and over is eligible for a Pfizer vaccination with only three weeks required between your 1st and 2nd dose.
Anyone who would like to bring forward their second dose of Pfizer from six weeks to three weeks can also walk in. However, existing appointments will be honoured and anyone walking in may experience a wait.
Anyone attending as a walk-in is encouraged to register their details first at https://portal.cvms.vic.gov.au/ as pre-registering will save you time at the Vaccination Clinic.
You are also required to bring your Medicare card when receiving your vaccination.
