No appointments needed at Screening Clinic

No appointment is needed at the Wangaratta COVID-19 Screening clinic until further notice.

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) Chief Executive Officer, Fiona Shanks said NHW had made the change to a drive-up system to make the process of receiving a COVID-19 test easier for community members.

“We’ve listened to the community around the challenges of making a phone booking during times of peak demand and this is why we are switching to no appointments at the Screening Clinic,” she said.

“With this change people should be advised that there may be a lengthy wait in their vehicles – we ask everyone to be patient.”

Entry to the Screening Clinic is via Vincent Road. Follow the instructions of staff upon arrival.

The Screening Clinic is open between 9.00am and 3.00pm, 7 days per week.

It is a drive-through Screening Clinic and you must remain in your car at all times.
