Volunteer training

A group shot of our latest volunteers after they have completed their training
Our new recruits with facilitator Marissa Clarkson (far Left)

Our latest recruits have just completed their training and are ready to take on the challenges and rewards of being a volunteer at NHW.

Our volunteers help in all areas of the hospital and need to be well equipped and ready to deal with any situation. That’s why we provide four-days of training with topics covering OH&S, Infection prevention and control, communication, grief and loss, self-care, diversity, spirituality, caring for the older person and volunteer safety/boundaries.
