Happy Christmas

ANZAC Day Service

More than 60 patients, staff and community members attended the 2018 ANZAC Day Service held at Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW).  The service was conducted by Jim Cozens and Darrell Brumby from the Wangaratta RSL sub-branch. Each year Margaret West, the niece of Caroline Ennis attends the service to honour her aunt, one of our two brave nurses from Wangaratta hospital who lost their lives in WWII.

Find out more about Caroline Ennis and Dorothy Elmes who volunteered for the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) and joined other Australian nurses in Singapore.
